Dinner at Cafe Lidia, Marikina

From the outside, the restaurant seemed ordinary. After all it was located along a very busy street, with jeepneys plying along the road. But once you go in, you notice immediately that this place is special. The ambiance is cozy, relaxed and inviting. Friendly waiters mill around, ready to assist even when they were obviously busy. We were seated in a booth with a view of the dessert cabinet, making my sweet tooth tingle even before we ordered our entrée.

For our appetizer we ordered Mozzarella sticks. It was served with marinara sauce.Php 130.00

Then We had buffalo wings. Beautifully glazed, not too spicy and the price kept low by serving them with sour cream, instead of the traditional bleu cheese, on the side. Php 150.00

Aside from Den Henrico's Buffalo wings which is my all time favorite. Cafe Lidia's buffalo wings also taste good. smaller and cheaper.

House Pizza Special Php 220.00

Thin crust pizza with crunchy edges has pepperoni, ham, bacon, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, pineapple.

Shrimp in Arrabiata Sauce - Php 165.00 

Fettucine pasta in spicy tomato sauce with spicy shrimp.

 

Pasta with tuna and bacon Php 200.00

And this us.. having a picture taking before we eat. 

Next time I will definitely try other pizzas, pasta dishes, salads, sandwiches, rice meals and even roast chicken and pan seared cream dory. We will definitely try them when we come back,we will definitely be coming back. Hopefully I can bring my babe here because he's also a food lover like me. :)

By the way, let me just mention that the restrooms were very clean too, therefore adding to the wonderful dining experience.

Again, do come and visit Cafe Lidia, it is definitely a place where good italian food, reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere converge.

You obviously have no idea how you made a big impact in my life, simply because it’s not easy to show it. I may express my feelings for you by doing little things, which I know means a lot to you. But seriously, can you imagine how you make my everyday a lot more fun? :) You still are, and will always be the one who can cheer me up and make me feel that everything with you is so easy. We may fight and argue over little things, but I know, deep down inside you, is a soft heart willing to forgive me for what I have done and not let pride take over you, you put down your pride like a man, like a gentleman that never let his own pride make his girl feel that it is more important than her. You honestly impress me with that, and I hope you won’t change. I can’t imagine my life being with somebody and be this happy. I hope you will remain in my life for as long as possible. You came, my world revolves around you. And without a doubt, you are just the best thing that happened in my life.

You’ve became a part of my daily routine. I feel weird for some reason when we don’t talk. its just I still feel like my day isn’t complete. Even one simple word like ‘hi’ from you can make my day. It just feels nice to have your company knowing that you can’t be here for me physically.
