Change

Over the past years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some really amazing people, some who’ve made a lasting impression in my life and others who walked away as fast as they walked in. There are some friends who I’d imagined would be my best friends for life, friends that I would grow old with, who would be there for me, who would be my shoulder to cry on. But, things just…changed. They found new interests, new personalities almost, and new friends. People who I thought I knew best were in fact the ones I knew the least. Their true colors showed and I realized these people weren’t who I thought they were at all. They had changed so much. But then, a thought struck me. Was it really these people in my life who had changed, or was it just me?
